Duplicate message detection in Telegram

The bot compares every new message in a group with earlier ones and replies “⚠️ Duplicate found” if the same values have appeared before: the same card and amount, order number or phone. Double payouts and repeated requests no longer slip through.

How it works

1

Add the bot to a group

Via a one-time link from the dashboard. To let the bot see all messages, make it an admin (no permissions needed).

2

Paste a sample message

Mark the values to check for repeats: card, amount, order number, phone.

3

Work as usual

The bot replies to a repeat with a link to the first message. Edited messages are checked again.

Features

Template from a sample

Paste a regular message and mark the fields, and the service figures out what to compare.

Value matching

Spaces, case and number format don’t matter: “500 000” and “500000” are the same.

Check window

Look for repeats over all time or the last N days, in one chat or across all connected chats.

Reply with a link

The bot replies to the message itself and shows when and where the first one was.

Messages from other bots

Through your Telegram account the validator also checks messages from bots that a regular bot can’t see.

Discord, Slack, MAX and webhook

Every duplicate can also go to Discord, Slack, MAX or your own URL: CRM, Make or Zapier get the values and links.

FAQ

Why doesn’t the bot see messages in the group?

By default bots in groups only see commands. Make the bot a group admin; it needs no permissions.

Can it check messages from other bots?

Yes. Bots can’t see other bots’ messages, so for such chats the template is connected through your Telegram account, which sees everything.

Which fields can be used to find duplicates?

Any values in the message: card number, amount, phone, order number, name. Use one field or a combination.

What if a message is edited?

The edited message is checked again, and its old values no longer take part in the search. Remove a mistaken message from checks with /forget.

Can I get duplicates in Discord, Slack, MAX or a CRM?

Yes. Tick a webhook in the template, and every duplicate sends the matched values, a link to the message and to the first one. Your own URL receives JSON signed with HMAC.
